Is it just me? Why is it taking forever to upload a 750Mb story to dropbox?
A couple things I notice:
My phone goes to sleep. Every time I wake it up, it reconnects to FrontRow. Shouldn't it maintain its connectivity? It shouldn't have to keep reconnecting.
So it was a 3 hour timelapse. It took 3 hours to upload because for the last 30 minutes I had to keep poking iphone to keep it from sleeping and I couldn't just go to another app because if I left the frontrow app and return to it later, it reconnects to continue downloading. Why didn't it stay connected?
Is there a faster way to get files out of the camera?
It should keep connectivity during the file downloading .
Thanks for your feedback.
Help to feedback both device and iPhone end.
Try to download by fast mode which can upto 20MBps .
Download by Mac/PC
Oh, duh! The cable's not just for charging. Thank you, that was a much faster download. I've had so many cameras I just never connect to the computer, I use the card reader or transfer wirelessly so it wasn't on my radar.
Still, I don't see why the dropbox speed can't be improved independent the local wifi speed. Backup to dropbox just doesn't take that long on my other devices.
Once your Dropbox account is linked, your FrontRow will automatically backup your content when it is charging and connected to Wi-Fi.
Did your FR deivce keep charging ?
@wabbitt Can you submit the log on both FR and phone end, it's helpful for us to track the issue.
You can submit log by follow steps:
- Go to Settings-About-Feedback on FrontRow App side, describe the issue and submit.
- Go to Settings-Feedback on FR end, then discribe the issue and submit.
