Attach Lanyard to the "bottom" of camera?
Right now the lanyard is attached to the top of device. I guess the reason is in this way, camera's position is a bit higher (and also less vibration). However, in this way, it might be difficult to operate the LCD touch screen unless you take off the lanyard from neck.
A typical stopwatch has lanyard attached to the bottom because it is easier to operate it that way.
For example, the following image may look like upside down for the stopwatch, but all stopwatches are like that because this way it is easier to operate it.
I don't have a good idea, but only sees it as a potential problem. With usability, the devil is in the details.
I guess one way to fix this problem is to rotate image upside down like iPhone does (based on the direction of gravity), although the home button might be on the top in this way.
The LCD touch screen is face your body , It should be fine to operate the LCD touch screen .
Actually , most of time you don't need to operate the touch screen .
A. If you just want to do the actions below, you can use media button without looking at the screen .
1 click - take photo,
2 clicks - start or pause story
hold press - start or pause video recording
B. If you want to preview the photos/videos , you can connect to device by mobile phone apps .
@vincent-frontrow Now I get my FrontRow, I think you are right. Normally with Lanyard on, you would operate it through cell phone. So this is not a big issue any more.
@dajian888 : ) , enjoying would love to hear any suggestion.
